I came to the world of public accounting after spending thirteen years in the restaurant business, the last seven as owner/operator of a small, highly regarded restaurant. Before starting my own CPA practice I worked for a local CPA firm that specializes in tax planning and management consulting for professional corporations, and served as the controller for a small temporary employment agency. All told, I have over twenty years experience working in and with smaller businesses. I graduated from Harvard College in 1973 and earned a masters degree in taxation from Bentley College in 1997. I have always taken professional development seriously and have completed continuing education seminars in accounting, tax law, and financial planning. |
