Since founding Maurie Fox-Warren, CPA, P.C., in 1995,
I have focused on providing personalized accounting services to smaller businesses and professionals. I help my clients understand their business and financial situation so they can make intelligent decisions and formulate plans for the future. By working with other professionals, including attorneys and financial planners, I can provide my clients with the opportunity to create an integrated business and financial strategy which leads toward success and security.

I came to the world of public accounting after spending thirteen years in the restaurant business, the last seven as owner/operator of a small, highly regarded restaurant. Before starting my own CPA practice I worked for a local CPA firm that specializes in tax planning and management consulting for professional corporations, and served as the controller for a small temporary employment agency. All told, I have over twenty years experience working in and with smaller businesses.

I graduated from Harvard College in 1973 and earned a masters degree in taxation from Bentley College in 1997. I have always taken professional development seriously and have completed continuing education seminars in accounting, tax law, and financial planning.
